Achats & Petites Annonces / [Impression 3D] Raz Industries

New model rules

Brigadier General Gunnbjorn (Gunnbjorn 2)
Gunnbjorn 2 has, much like his initial iteration, a strong ranged combat element to his design and overall gameplan. However, unlike Gunnbjorn 1, Gunnbjorn 2 is almost exclusively about ranged combat. He loses the versatility of spells such as Rock Wall and a more defensive feat to become laser focused on doing one thing and doing it incredibly well: blowing stuff up from afar. This is the core of his design. Gunnbjorn 2 is THE ranged powerhouse of Trolls, but pays for it in a lack of any melee oriented utility, and Foxhole and Repo [3"] (on feat turn) as his only defensive tech.

His feat, Bombing Run, allows your army to bypass so many rules that could potentially prevent blast damage (such as Girded, trenches, etc) while cranking all that damage up to its full POW. There is counterplay to this feat, primarily your opponent spreading their forces out to try to minimize your AOE potential, but this means your opponent is positioning turn to turn based on your potential offensive output, which can greatly hinder their scenario play. Even with proper positioning, you can still run a friendly model up next to something you really need to destroy and blast your ally in the back to get the full AOE damage on an enemy caster or key model.

Gunnbjorn's spell list contains two new spells. First is Relentless Barrage, which is the Hordes version of Open Fire from Warmachine. Second is Expose, which is a powerhouse spell that requires Gunnbjorn to put himself into a potentially dangerous position to get the most use out of. Expose flat out turns off Shield Guard and Stealth on all enemy models in Gunnbjorn's control range, but that means Gunnbjorn has to be a bit up the board to get the most out of it. It's a tricky spell, its great when you need it, but if you fail to kill what you were Exposing you can find youself in a lot of trouble.

Gunnbjorn also has a list of unique Battle Plans, which act as his "fifth free spell", and all three of them are very strong. Bring it Down is especially potent on weapon Crews such as the Razorback in the new theme force, since the crew can run into position and be told to shoot (fully boosted) by Gunnbjorn and then shoot AGAIN with a Gunnery Sergeant. Relay Coordinates is the most situational of the three abilities but still has plenty of strong application, and Unload allows any warbeast to get an extra shot with its ranged weapons during its turn. Note that no trollblood warbeast currently has more than one ranged weapon, but in the future this ability could give a beast more than 1 shot if its packing more weapons.

Testing Call Out: We want to see loads of feedback on Gunnbjorn 2. Show us the lists you want to run with Gunnbjorn 2 at the helm, and what models you intend to bring with him to maximize his ranged offensive output.

Trollkin Barrage Team
The Trollkin Barrage team is straightforward, but very good at what they do. They provide incredibly long range, fairly accurate shots that can either hurt multiple infantry models or CRA a single big shot into a harder target. With Casters that can give them Snipe, such as Grim 2 or Gunnbjorn 1 this unit can sit just about anywhere they want on the table and rain down death upon their enemies.

Their Barrage ability is situational, and potentially not strong in the current competitive meta, but its still applicable in everyday gaming against hordes of light infantry and something we want them to retain.

Don't miss the fact that this unit has 5 damage boxes.

Testing Call Out: What casters and buffs are you looking to apply to this unit, and how will you use them?

Trollkin Gunnery Sergeant
The Gunnery Sergeant provides loads of value to ranged heavy lists, but especially to weapon crews. Capable of stripping Stealth from a single model, providing Artillerist, or even dropping a RNG 20 (!) ground pounder from across the board, this solo has tons of utility. That said, his most common use, we've found, is in his Ancillary Attack for weapon crews.

Note that this is specifically Ancillary Attack and not Battery Fire. This is intentional. Battery Fire allows a weapon crew to make an additional attack during its activation, but Ancillary (while shorter range to target) allows the Weapon Crew to run or charge into a position and then be told to fire by the Sergeant. Between the Sergeant and Gunnbjorn 2, the vector and ranges of weapon crews can be a bit scary for your opponent.

Farrow Sapper
The Farrow Sapper is a board position disruption piece, making it a great addition to Gunnbjorn 2 where your opponent needs to carefully position unless they get destroyed by his feat. If you take two of this solo, you can place two mine markers that you are guaranteed to be able to blow up later in the game within or near a scenario element. This can provide a decent amount of denial to where certain models can stand and strike your force.

While this solo can Ambush, don't always feel you have to.It has Stealth, Tough, and 5 damage boxes. It is sometimes better to deploy it normally and have it run up on the first turn so it can plant more mines centrally on the board. Also don't miss that when you do Ambush, this is a solo with a RNG 8, RAT 6, AOE 4 attack. You can use the sapper to really threaten your opponent's softer back line support, or shut down prominent areas where enemy snipers or archers might want to stand to take shots.

Boomhowler, the Destroyer (Boomhowler 3)
The latest incarnation of Boomhowler is a monster of support, and has recently had his offensive output increased as well (versus his initial preview a couple of months ago).

This Boomhowler has versatility, you can hold him back and just use him for Hoof It and Dinner Time before committing him to the fight later in the game. With Countercharge, even if you hold him back your opponent still has to pay attention to his positioning less they have one of their models knocked down during its own activation.

Don't miss that Shout Down its +2 to all attack rolls, not just melee. This Fell Call affects a lot of your own models (if they start in Boomhowler's command range), meaning they can't be affected by other fell calls, so make sure to use it when you don't need another Fell Call from a different source.

Finally, when Boomhowler does decide to get into combat he does two things that are new to the game. First, he has flat Amputation, not crit Amputation, making him a potential nightmare for jacks and beasts. Second, he threshers twice! Once you do manage to get him into combat try to maximize the number of models he is hitting, and then watch them explode. For better results, bring him with Madrak 2, cast Blood Fury on him, and feat. Good times.

Bumbles
Bumbles is a bear who likes to roll around, be petted, play catch, and murder.

Bumbles is a combat solo powerhouse, who we recently toned down by dropping his ARM a bit. Countercharge with his flat Pitch bite can be devastating to your opponent, so they must always play around it (which in turn allows you to dictate some of their positioning).

Like the Sapper, you won't always Ambush Bumbles, sometimes it is better to have him advance with the main bulk of your force under the protection of a Krielstone.

Testing Call Out: How do you intend to use Bumbles in your lists? Do you feel his offensive output is too strong at his points cost and why?

Legacy model rules

Ragnor Skysplitter, the Runemaster
We felt Ragnor was in a decent spot in the Trollblood warlock pantheon, but was missing just a few components to allow him to fully realize his potential and play to his gameplan each and every turn. The biggest problem was, he was short by 1 fury each turn. So we fixed this by upping his FURY by 1, and providing him a new spell that would also get great benefit out of his larger control range.

Finally, to play more into his Runeshaper theme and give him a unique style within the Power of Dhunia theme force, we added a Field Marshal that would provide some accuracy buffs to his (likely) melee heavy battlegroup
Gained +1 FURY
Gained the Chosen Ground Spell
Gained Weight of Stone on his melee weapon
Gained Field Marshal [Weight of Stone], providing it to the melee weapons of beasts in his battlegroup

Madrak, Great Chieftain (Madrak 3)
Unlike Ragnor, who we felt needed a few bumps to get to where we wanted him, Madrak 3 was underperforming more significantly. His feat felt a bit clunky, his spell list wasn't quiet right, and he also felt like he needed a passive buff (such as a Field Marshal) that could really define his role as an extremely defensive caster. That is what we see Madrak 3 as, a defensive trollblood caster, but we also wanted him to have at least one significant tool in his arsenal to make the most out of the models that survived into get into combat.
Feat changed so that friendly models do not suffer free strikes when they move as a result of it.
Gained +1 ARM.
Gained Field Marshal [Shield Guard]
Lost the spells Fortune and Soothing Song
Gained the spells Battle Lust and Defender's Ward

Pyre Troll
We reviewed all of the lights available to Trollbloods, determined what exactly we wanted them to do in terms of their role (are they primarily ranged, melee, meant to be survivable, a disruption piece, etc) and then reviewed their animi as well. Also, we identified a few animi we have decided that Trollbloods, as a Faction, will benefit from greatly if they can be cast on any model in the army. Helping to bring up some of the hitting power across the board, though this did require several of those animi to go up from COST 1 to COST 2 in exchange. All of the changes you see below are reflective of this overall review:

We see the Pyre Troll in a ranged offensive role, and thus increased the output of its Spew Fire to better reflect that.
Flaming Fists Animi changed to become COST 2, RNG 6. Can be cast on any friendly Faction model.
Spew Fire becomes ROF 2.

Slag Troll
We see the Slag Troll in a hybrid offensive role, which we feel it currently performs well.
Acidic Touch Animi changed to become COST 2, RNG 6. Can be cast on any friendly Faction model

Troll Axer
We see the Troll Axer in a melee offensive role, which we feel it currently performs well for a light warbeast, but its point cost was too high in comparison to other options.
Reduced to PC 9

Troll Impaler
We see the Troll Impaler in a ranged offensive role, and thus increased its ranged accuracy while also reducing its point cost, which felt far too high to us given other options.
Gained +1 RAT
Reduced to PC 9

Swamp Troll

We see the Swamp Troll in a defensive role, meant to survive on or near scenario elements while being able to fend off lighter armored enemies, and potentially drag contesting/controlling models away. We felt he wasn't feeling right in this defensive role, and have changed him accordingly.
Lost 2 ARM
Gained Impervious Flesh

Storm Troll
We see the Storm Troll in a hybrid offensive / disruption role, with a slight lean towards ranged. We wanted this troll to also offer some stronger anti-warjack tech, which isn't super common for the Trollbloods.
Lightning Fists Animi changed to become COST 2, RNG 6. Can be cast on any friendly Faction model
Gained +1 RAT
Lost Crit Disruption on Claws
Gained Cortex Damage on Claws

Night Troll

We see the Night Troll in a melee disruption role. Once a Night Troll is able to engage, we wanted it to be more meaningful, and have given it flat Paralysis on its Claws. This isn't the second coming of the Clockatrice in our opinions, as delivering the melee attacks of a Night Troll is far more difficult that the ranged sprays of the Clockatrice.
Lost Crit Paralysis on Claws
Gained Paralysis on Claws

Mulg
After loads of games and review on Mulg, we ultimately decided that we were happy with how he is performing on the table, and his unique utility such as becoming an "arc node". The problem isn't what Mulg does, its how much you pay for what he does.
PC reduced to 20.

Dire Troll Brawler
The Dire Troll Brawler needed just a little bump to help separate it from options such as the Mauler or the Earthborn. With his better than normal melee RNG (for trolls) we decided to make the most of that and give the Brawler the opportunity to fight into enemy lines and threaten a bit farther than normal.
Flails gain Beatback.

Trollkin Champions
Trollkin Champions were overall performing how we intended, but we felt that they suffered a bit more than they should from only having one Skaldi to go around. We wanted this elite unit to be able to reliably deliver itself into combat, which it mostly can thanks to Defensive Line and Sanguine Bond, but the lack of Pathfinder could really hurt running multiple units, which we feel can be critical to certain army builds.
Gains Relentless Charge

Skaldi Bonehammer
The above change meant that Skaldi now needed to provide some different utility to the unit he was attached to, which we quickly determined would be a quality of life change to how the unit could get itself into the right combat positions on various turns.
Loses Granted: Relentless Charge
Gains Granted: Practiced Maneuvers

Trollkin Champion Hero
Overall the Trollkin Champion Hero felt right in terms of his role and performance, but looking at him conceptually and the model, his armor was low in comparison to his other Champion kin. This is a minor change, but one we feel is appropriate while we are looking at Champions overall.
Gains +1 ARM

Trollkin Warders
We wanted to further separate Warders and Champions, and really cement Warders as the go-to defensive elite unit in Trolls. Part of the issue is, while the unit had Shield Guard, they also wanted to clump up together due to Wall of Steel. Clumping up, of course, reduced the effectiveness of the unit as Shield Guards for other models.

Instead, we want to see Warders spread out and protect small pockets or individuals, which we feel they do very well now with their new changes. They are not meant to be strong offensive elite models, that is the role of the Champions.
Loses Wall of Steel
Gains Carapace
Gains Roadblock
Testing Call Out: Warders under stone are effective ARM 23 against shooting, which is brutal for a Shield Guard unit of 5 models. Add a Dhunian Archon into the mix and you've got an incredibly tough nut to crack. What lists will you slot them in? Which models will you try to protect with them?

Typo: The Warder pdf shows an extra weapon at the moment with no name. Disregard this. They only have their normal Battle Weapon

Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes
The Krielstone Bearer & Stone Scribes are a fundamental aspect of most Trollblood armies. Rarely do you see a list without at least a minimum unit. We are happy with how they perform, and their place in the faction as a key support piece, but have decided that they are taking up a few too many points in basically every trollblood list out there.
PC reduced to 5/7

Dhunian Knot
The Dhunian Knot is a pure support unit, but felt like it was lacking something special. Thematically this is a unit all about protection, healing, magic and nurturing. The healing and nurturing bit was there, but we wanted to see this unit become more interesting in regards to protection and magic.
Gained the Prayer Circle ability
(Prayer Circle: While all three Dhunian Knot models in this unit are in formation, other friendly Faction models whose base is
within the triangular area between them cannot be knocked down or made stationary, and gain boosted magic attack rolls.)

Trollkin Runeshapers
Runeshapers have always been in a position of melee magic users, though they were only really encouraged to get into melee to trigger Battle Wizard if Janissa was nearby. We want these units to be able to spread out across the battle field, threaten multiple areas with their spells and the threat of them charging into something and firing off a Rock Hammer or a Trembler deeper into enemy lines.
Gained the Battle Wizard ability

Janissa Stonetide
With Runeshapers gaining Battle Wizard across the board, Janissa needed a new buff for the type of unit, but we also wanted her to help out Ragnor in the process. The decision was an easy one, and something we think Runeshaper lists will appreciate.
Loses Leadership Runeshaper
Janissa gains Veteran Leader [Runeshaper]

Troll Whelps
We wanted trolls to have some PC 1 options to help fill points as needed, and also wanted to ensure that when a whelp is eaten it guarantees a warbeast has all spirals fully functional. Please note that these changes don't affect any theme benefits which still give free whelps, as those benefits specify exactly how many whelps are provided.
Become FA 15
Reduced to PC 1
Alternate Food Source now heals d3+1

Horgle Ironstrike (Horgle 1)
Horgle 1 was missing a component to his overall gameplan, a way to make sure enemies were on fire. Having an enemy on fire is crucial to triggering his Burnt Meat ability, so we've given him a brand new spell to help facilitate that, even with his lower FURY stat.
Loses Molten Metal spell
Gains Ember Spark spell

Ember Spark (Cost 2, RNG 10, POW 10, Offensive)
Gain an additional die on this spell’s attack roll if the target is not affected by Continuous Effect: Fire. Ember Spark
causes fire damage. Models hit suffer the Fire continuous effect.

Theme Forces

Vengeance of Dhunia
The new theme force focuses, thematically, on the children of Dhunia (including Farrow, Ogruns, and Gobbers) and their combined use of military tactics and divine magic.

This was a tricky theme force to design, as it had to not step on the toes of Kriel Company or Power of Dhunia. It's sort of the hybrid of both, while having some very distinct features. This theme is very capable of playing beast-heavy, it can go full on ranged (though likely not as well as Kriel Company, which is intentional), but most often we expect to see it played in a combined arms manner. Which is our goal. If it runs beast lists better than most Power of Dhunia lists, or runs ranged lists better than most Kriel Company lists, then something has gone wrong. As stated, this is hybrid theme with a lot of versatility, and that is its strength in our opinion. It isn't strictly made for just one type of list or strategy, you've got options.

There are some key things to note about this theme force when you begin building lists for it:

1.) No Runebearer. This is the only Trollblood list that cannot bring a Runebearer. Now this is made up a bit by the fact that all warlocks can cast a free animi every turn (more on that in a moment), but we do not want the Farrow warlocks using the Runebearer. Additionally we feel the lack of the Runebearer helps us keep that distance between Kriel Company and Power of Dhunia, which as stated is very important.

2.) You can bring Farrow. Farrow warlocks can take Troll beasts, and Trollblood warlocks can take Farrow beasts. There has been loads to test here, so definitely think about the types of combos you want to run with this new slew of battlegroup options.

3.) All models in the army count as both Trollblood and Farrow, meaning all Faction buffs work on any model in the army. It also means that, with the benefit of Attuned Spirit [Trollblood[, since Farrow beasts count as Trollblood beasts in this theme force, troll warlocks now have access to things like Lightning Strike, Countercharge, etc and farrow warlocks get a whole new pigpen to play in.

Testing Call Out: There's some very powerful lists you can build in this theme. For example, one strong list we identified was a Lord Carver beast heavy list, full of cheap troll beasts benefiting from both Batten Down the Hatches and the Krielstone. There's a lot of ways you can build a Vengeance of Dhunia list, so show us what you consider to be the strongest and tell us why.

Power of Dhunia
As part of keeping some separation between Vengeance of Dhunia and Power of Dhunia, we wanted to up the benefit of playing beast heavy in a Power of Dhunia army. Previously this theme used the Serenity benefit on Dhunia Knots to allow you to run loads of beasts hot, and potentially keep them from frenzying. With the changes to several of the elemental light warbeasts' animi, and some of the stronger animi in the Faction, we wanted to take a new approach to fury conservation while also giving the beasts a benefit and not requiring the Dhunia Knot to be properly positioned (and thus possibly killed).
Loses the Serenity benefit
Gains the following benefit: When a living warbeast is forced to use its animus while in its controller’s control range, reduce the cost of the animus by 1.

We know that many of our players and retailers have been frustrated by our recent delays in delivering product, so we’d like to shed some light on the multiple challenges we currently face getting that product to stores. This way, you at least know what the problems stem from and what we’re doing to address them. Some of the issues are within our control, and we are working on solutions for those. Others are external and industry-wide, and we are trying different things to tackle them, but those issues will only be corrected over time as we’re able to find new and better ways to work with the other parties that make up the infrastructure of the hobby game industry.

Internally, we are still cleaning up the aftermath of a company move in September. There’s no sugarcoating it: the move knocked us down. We had nearly 50,000 square feet of warehouse, production, and office space that had to be relocated in a time frame that was much too short. In preparation—during and after the move—our production department was effectively offline for many weeks and is only now getting back up to speed. This caused delays in producing new product as well as in restocking items that had gone out of stock during that time. In order to fulfill the orders we could, many orders were shipped as partials because some items were out of stock until they could be made once our production was back online. But after a partial order ships, the items that were shorted have to be reordered, and this may or may not occur depending on who placed the original order. And if the order doesn’t come through again, it will just never get filled, and the customer waiting on the item may never even know.

We are very sorry for the inconveniences this has caused. Naturally, the last thing we want to do is deny someone who wants our products the opportunity to obtain them. We stumbled through the course of this relocation effort and are doing everything we can to get back up to speed to provide availability of our entire catalog. We are actively hiring more staff for production in order to help meet demand, and we are shipping orders as quickly as we get them made and packed, while still trying to put our new facility together. Our previous factory was built over the thirteen years we occupied the location; taking it apart and putting it back together in our new building was no small feat. New electrical and gas had to be installed to hook the machines up, ventilation and support structures and safety equipment all had to be installed. It would be as if you moved from one home to another but not only had to move your appliances but also your plumbing, your breaker box, and some of your heater ducts. The machines are working again, and we’re almost back to 100% capacity, but of course we’re working on a backlog of orders, so it will take a little more time before we can clear up the logjam.

To help anyone who has placed an order through their store and is unsure of its availability, please contact our customer support staff at frontdesk@privateerpress.com. Let them know the item(s) that you are waiting for and the store the order was placed through. Any additional contact info that could be provided regarding the store, such as city, state, phone number, etc., is very helpful though not necessary. If the store is a direct-ordering customer of Privateer, we can reach out directly to them to try and get the item to them ASAP, or we can help them place the order again or at least give them information that can inform delivery. Or we might just have information for you that will be helpful, like “those items are shipping now” or “we don’t anticipate having that back in stock for another month.” If the store orders through distributors, we can try to work with that store and distributor to make sure they have access to whatever they’re trying to obtain.

Externally, our industry faces the challenge of a very crowded marketplace where product no longer flows as easily as it did a few years ago. With massive, ever-expanding catalogs and the constant deluge of new product, few distributors, if any, can afford to stock every product line being produced, particularly those persistently expanding ones like WARMACHINE and HORDES. And so, what we are seeing as the new normal is that distributors will place orders with us for whatever is pre-ordered by their retail customers, but they do not order much additional inventory because their warehouse space is heavily impacted by so many different product lines. This means that when a new item sells out quickly in stores and the store goes to reorder it, unless they are among the first to reorder, the distributor may not have it anymore. Where distributors used to stock a multi-month supply of many items, they have had to consolidate to make room for the abundance of new product in the market. But unless the distributor can be sure they will sell large enough quantities of a product already released, they are unlikely to reorder when something sells out for the legitimate fear they might get stuck with any overages they order and because they also have another 3,000 new products to sell now. Managing the flow of so many small one-off orders to re-stock things that might have sold out is a taxing process.

Two examples of this are our recent releases of Riot Quest and Oblivion. We have had these products in stock since their initial release in August, and yet we continually receive reports that customers can’t get them. But we have shipped 100% of the distributor orders placed for these within a couple weeks or less of the order being placed—no orders were shorted. So how can it be that our customers can’t get the product? The reason is that we fulfilled those initial pre-orders, but demand is always higher than the pre-orders. And now, when something sells out, there isn’t inventory with the distributor for that item, and we don’t receive re-orders on things over a month old (as often as we used to) because of the crush of new product demanding the attention of distributors and retailers alike. Under no circumstance am I suggesting anyone within this three-tiered system of retail product distribution isn’t doing everything they can to make it work. No one wants to lose a sale, of course. But everyone is in some way impacted by the massive amount of product getting released into a channel that traditionally doesn’t operate with the breadth of offerings available now. It’s the best time in history to be a gamer, but it’s quite possibly one of the most challenging times ever to be a publisher, particularly a publisher founded and established depending on distribution partners to deliver our product during a time where product glut wasn’t a problem.

We are currently working on a number of initiatives to help navigate these issues. We are expanding our retail support staff to work directly with stores to help augment our product availability through distribution and to assist stores that may not be getting what they need from their normal suppliers. We are also working on new programs that we hope will make working with our product lines easier for distributors and retailers so we can ensure greater accessibility to our products. And we’re also now consolidating our street dates to once a month to ensure greater consistency in orders both placed and received.

If you’re interested, here’s what you can do to help:

Pre-order with your local game store. This is the number-one most important thing you can do in order to ensure you can get access to new product releases. It’s a great favor to your local game store to help take the guesswork out of what to order, and those orders are most likely to be fulfilled when the store orders from their distributor as opposed to a last-minute order or an order placed after the street date of a new release. If a pre-order doesn’t get fulfilled for a retailer, that means somewhere along the supply chain, not enough of the item was ordered to cover the pre-orders because we fulfill 100% of all new release orders through distribution along with pre-orders through our direct retail customers.
Have your local game store contact us directly. If you’re having difficulty obtaining a past release, encourage your local game store to contact our team at frontdesk@privateerpress.com. Your store doesn’t necessarily have to be interested in buying direct or need to have an account; we want to help them get our products any way we can, and we will coordinate stores with distributors to make sure they have the access they need to get them.
Try our online store yourself. While we always encourage you to purchase through your local game store, if all else fails, provided the item is in stock, you can obtain it from our online store: https://store.privateerpress.com
Of course, if none of those options seem viable, then please contact us through frontdesk@privateerpress.com, and let us know you need some help finding something. We’ll do whatever we can to help.

We know it’s frustrating to be waiting on something for an undue amount of time. It’s equally frustrating for us to not have an immediate and perfect solution for you, as we are keenly aware that these issues hurt our business and our ability to bring products to market. So, we are working hard to correct the problems, both those within our control as well as those market-induced issues beyond our control. We appreciate your support and patience, and we will continue to strive to earn your confidence.

Thank you,

Matt Wilson

Cercle Orboros / Dhunian Archon
« le: 30 octobre 2019 à 13:03:17 »
Chers Druides,

Combos & Synergies

Achats & Petites Annonces / [Vente] Gallows Grove
« le: 05 août 2019 à 14:35:15 »
Hello,

Cercle Orboros / [Raz] Le Cercle vicieux. Pairing & BR
« le: 28 mai 2019 à 13:59:48 »
Plop !

Baldur1 vs Garryth2

On termine à 7-2.

Citer
Circle Army - 75 / 75 points
[Theme] The Devourer's Host

[Iona 1] Iona the Unseen [+28]
 - Gnarlhorn Satyr [12]
 - Warpwolf Stalker [17]
 - Tharn Blood Shaman [4]
Lord of the Feast [0(6)]
Tharn Wolf Rider Champion [0(7)]
Tharn Wolf Rider Champion [0(7)]
Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5]
Bríghid & Caul [7]
Tharn Ravagers (max) [15]
 - Tharn Ravager Chieftain [5]
Tharn Ravagers (max) [15]
 - Tharn Ravager Chieftain [5]
Tharn Wolf Riders (max) [18]

Citer
Circle Army - 75 / 75 points
[Theme] The Devourer's Host

[Krueger 2] Krueger the Stormlord [+27]
 - Argus Moonhound [6]
 - Storm Raptor [34]
 - Tharn Blood Shaman [4]
Bloodweaver Night Witch [4]
Bog Trog Mist Speaker [4]
Lord of the Feast [0(6)]
Tharn Wolf Rider Champion [0(7)]
Boil Master & Spirit Cauldron [5]
Shifting Stones [3]
Tharn Bloodweavers [8]
 - Tharn Bloodweaver Haruspex [4]
Tharn Ravagers (max) [15]
 - Tharn Ravager Chieftain [5]
Well of Orboros [10]

Tanith, the Feralsong

Le Feat : Rites of the Wurm

Conclusions

-Cut Regrowth.
-Change Restoration to:
Restoration       2                6                –                –                UP             No
Target friendly Faction unit gains +2 ARM. Models are not affected while out of formation. During your Control Phase, the spellcaster can spend fury points to return one destroyed small- or medium-based living Grunt from that unit to play for each fury point spent. A returned Grunt must be placed in the spellcaster’s control range, in formation, and within 3” of another model in its unit. The Grunt is returned with one unmarked damage box and must forfeit its Combat Action the turn it is put into play.

Morvahna 1 has always been an attrition-style warlock who focuses on the balance of life and death. We’ve increased her potency on a turn-by-turn basis with both Restoration and Mortality. Being able to return medium-based units with Restoration opens up the range of units available to her army compositions and creates some interesting list dynamics.

Morvahna the Dawnshadow
-Change the last sentence of Blood Sacrifice to:
Returned models cannot attack the turn in which they are returned to play.
-Change the first sentence of Scales of Fate to:
When a friendly Faction model makes an attack or damage roll during its activation while in this model’s control range, this model can suffer d3 damage points to cause that model to reroll that roll.
-Change the last sentence of Carnivore to:
When an affected model destroys a living model with a melee attack, the destroyed model is removed from play and the spellcaster can remove d3 damage points.
-Change the text of Censure to:
Enemy upkeep spells in the spellcaster’s control range immediately expire. A model can keep any of its upkeep spells in play by suffering d3 damage points per spell. This damage cannot be transferred or reduced by spending focus points. Remove one damage point from the spellcaster for each damage point caused by Censure. Censure can be cast only once per activation.
-Equinox RNG 2.

Morvahna 2 received several small tweaks that culminate in a much more interesting and powerful warlock. Returning Scales of Fate to Control Range opens up the options that Morvahna 2 can include in her lists.

Brennos the Elderhorn
-Cost 15.
-DEF 12.
-Change animus to Arcane Protections:
Arcane Protections       2          Self      –          –          RND    No
While within 10˝ of the spellcaster, enemy models cannot channel spells. Arcane Protections lasts for one round.
-Gain Battle Wizard:
Battle Wizard - Once per turn, when this model destroys one or more enemy models with a melee attack during its activation, immediately after the attack is resolved it can make one Magic Ability special attack or special action.
-Change Bond to:
Bond [Morvahna] - If this model begins the game in Morvahna’s battlegroup, it is bonded to her. This model is not considered to be bonded while under your opponent's control. While this model is bonded to Morvahna and in her control range, she can channel spells through it.
-Condition (★Action) changed to Rite of Spring
Rite of Spring (★Action): Remove d3 damage points from each friendly living Faction model currently in this model’s command range.

As Morvahna’s character warbeast, Brennos brings a lot of utility to his warlock’s lists. Healing returned models (or Morvahna herself) gives Brennos a unique role helping Morvahna. A new and unique animus, a point reduction, and the addition of Battle Wizard add a lot of flavor and power to Brennos.

Feral Warpwolf, Gnarlhorn Satyr, Pureblood Warpwolf, Warpwolf Stalker
These warbeasts received minor stat tweaks and a general reduction in points. These minor tweaks should increase the efficiency of the warpwolves.

Ghetorix
-Cost 19.
-Gain Pathfinder .
-Cut Regeneration.
-Gain Rapid Healing:
Rapid Healing - When this model is damaged by an enemy attack, immediately after the attack is resolved remove d3 damage points from it.

We heard many comments on how Ghetorix was not sufficiently unique from the other warpwolves. We decided to push Ghetorix into the “durable” warpwolf archetype. Reducing his points and adding Rapid Healing achieved this in a very interesting and thematic way.

Rip Horn Satyr
-Damage boxes increased to 30.
-Gain Pathfinder .
-Gain Bulldoze:
Bulldoze - When this model is B2B with an enemy model during its Normal Movement, it can push that model up to 2˝ directly away from it. A model can be pushed by Bulldoze only once per turn. Bulldoze has no effect when this model makes a trample power attack.
-Bladed Gauntlets POW 5.
-Animus changed to Ornery:
Ornery       1          Self      –          –          RND    No
The spellcaster gains Retaliatory Strike. Ornery lasts for one round and expires after the spellcaster makes a Retaliatory Strike attack. (If a model with Retaliatory Strike is hit by a melee attack made by an enemy model during your opponent’s turn, after that attack is resolved the model with Retaliatory Strike can immediately make one basic melee attack against that model.)

The Rip Horn Satyr received some efficiency updates. Always having Bulldoze instead of it being an animus allowed us to add Ornery to the available options of the Rip Horn. Slightly increasing POW and damage boxes helps solidify this as the combat-style satyr.

Shadowhorn Satyr
-Gain Pathfinder .
-Claws gain Beat Back:
Beat Back - Immediately after a basic attack with this weapon is resolved during this model’s Combat Action, the enemy model hit can be pushed 1˝ directly away from the attacking model. After the enemy model is pushed, the attacking model can advance up to 1˝ directly toward it.
-Replace animus with Elusive:
Elusive       1          Self      –          –          RND    No
The spellcaster gains Dodge. Elusive lasts for one round. (A model with Dodge can advance up to 2˝ immediately after an enemy attack that missed it is resolved unless it was missed while advancing. It cannot be targeted by free strikes during this movement.)

Much like the Rip Horn, the Shadowhorn had its efficiency increased with some shuffling around of abilities.

Storm Raptor
-Cost 34.
-MAT 6.
-Gain Pathfinder .
-Gain Deceptively Mobile:
Deceptively Mobile - This model can move outside its Normal Movement as a result of Deceptively Mobile. At the end of an activation in which it did not run or fail a charge, this model can advance up to 3˝, then its activation ends.
-Gain Flying High:
Flying High - Ranged attacks targeting this model suffer –3 RNG. Friendly models can advance through this model if they have enough movement to move completely past its base. This model loses Flying High if it loses Flight .
-Change Sky Fire to:
Sky Fire       1          Self      *           –          Round  No
When a friendly Faction model makes an attack with a ranged weapon with Damage Type: Electricity  targeting an enemy model within 10˝ of the spellcaster, the attacking model gains +2 to its attack roll. When an enemy model within 10˝ of the spellcaster suffers an electrical damage roll , add +2 to the roll. Sky Fire lasts for one round.
-Lightning RNG 14.
-Cut Lightning Generator on Lightning ranged attack.
Lightning ranged attack gains Energy Pulse (★Attack):
Energy Pulse (★Attack) - This attack does not need a target. Each other model within 6˝ of this model that is in its front arc is automatically hit unless this model’s LOS to it is blocked by terrain. Models hit suffer a POW 12 electrical damage roll . Energy Pulse damage rolls are simultaneous.
-Lightning gains Sustained Attack:
Sustained Attack - During this model’s activation, when it makes an attack with this weapon against the last model hit by the weapon this activation, the attack automatically hits.
-Replace Reload [1] with Reload [2]:
Reload [2] - This model can be forced to make up to two additional ranged attacks with this weapon during its Combat Action. It can make one additional attack each time it is forced.

The Storm Raptor went through a major overhaul. We wanted this model to be a ranged platform in the early game that opponents have to really commit to fighting to threaten. Flying High and Deceptively Mobile are both rules that promote this play style. Once the early game is done, we wanted to see the Storm Raptor swoop in and make a big impact on the battlefield. This is shown with the increase in MAT and the addition of Energy Pulse. Package all that together with a slight point reduction and you’ve got a pretty darn neat gargantuan!

Death Wolves
-Gain Advance Deployment .
Advance Deployment lets the Death Wolves play a more aggressive game, which is how we would like to see them.

Tharn Blood Pack
-Cost 10/15.
-MAT 6.
-ARM 15.
-Cut Assault .
-Gain Hunter:
Hunter - This model ignores concealment and cover when making ranged attacks.
-Gain Rapid Healing:
Rapid Healing - When this model is damaged by an enemy attack, immediately after the attack is resolved remove d3 damage points from it.
-Tharn Bow RNG 12, POW 14.
-Bow gains Arcing FIre:
Arcing Fire - When attacking with this weapon, this model can ignore intervening models except those within 1˝ of the target.

Many of the changes to Tharn are to differentiate them from each other. The Tharn Bloodpack is the ranged fire support of the Tharn army and should have a hint of hit-and-run forest-dweller flavor.

Tharn Bloodtrackers
-Cost 9/15.

We felt the role of the Bloodtrackers was perfectly represented. A slight point drop brought them in line with the rest of the Tharn options.

Nuala the Huntress
-Cut Parry .
-Replace Granted: Swift Hunter with Granted: Reposition [3”]:
Granted: Reposition [3˝] - While this model is in formation, models in its unit gain Reposition [3˝]. (At the end of an activation in which it did not run or fail a charge, a model with Reposition [3˝] can advance up to 3˝, then its activation ends.)
-Gain Hunter’s Reckoning:
Hunter’s Reckoning - This model can use Hunter’s Reckoning once per game at any time during its unit’s activation. When it does, choose a new enemy model/unit to be this model/unit’s prey. The previously chosen model/unit is no longer this unit’s prey.

Nuala was not quite doing enough for her unit. We felt Hunter’s Reckoning was a really interesting ability for a master hunter such as Nuala and shows her formidable skills.

Tharn Ravagers
-Cost 10/15.
-Gain Rapid Healing:
Rapid Healing - When this model is damaged by an enemy attack, immediately after the attack is resolved remove d3 damage points from it.
-Tharn Axe gains Brutal Charge:
Brutal Charge - This model gains +2 to charge attack damage rolls with this weapon.

Increasing damage output and reducing point cost slightly put this unit in a great place. Adding a little durability against lower-power attacks gives this unit the tiny amount of survivability that it really needed to survive long enough to engage the lines of battle!

Tharn Ravager Chieftain
-Gain Rapid Healing:
Rapid Healing - When this model is damaged by an enemy attack, immediately after the attack is resolved remove d3 damage points from it.
-Tharn Axe gains Brutal Charge:
Brutal Charge - This model gains +2 to charge attack damage rolls with this weapon.

The Chieftain received the same updates his unit did.

Tharn Wolf Riders
-Cut Assault .
-Gain Dual Attack:
Dual Attack - This model can make melee and ranged attacks in the same activation. When this model makes its initial melee attacks or a power attack, it can also make its initial ranged attacks. This model can make ranged attacks even while in melee.
-Gain Jump.
Jump - After it makes a full advance during its Normal Movement but before it performs its Combat Action, you can place this model anywhere completely within 5˝of its current location. Any effects that prevent charging also prevent this model from using Jump.

We envision Wolf Riders as the premier flanking unit of the army. With impressive speed and now versatility, the unit can quickly position itself on portions of the board that opponents may not want it to be. Dual Attack and Jump really showcased how the riders fought with their wolves and were not just riding them.

Bloodweaver Night Witch
-Gain Advanced Deployment .
-Cut Blood Rituals.
-Implements of Death gain Weapon Master .
-Cut Life Drinker.
-Cut Grievous Wounds
-Gain Attack Types:
Attack Type - Each time this weapon is used to make an attack, choose one of the following special rules:
Dispel - When this weapon hits a model/unit, upkeep spells and animi on that model/unit immediately expire.
Grievous Wounds - A model hit by this weapon loses Tough  and cannot have damage removed from it for one round.
Life Stealer - When an attack with this weapon destroys an enemy model, immediately after the attack is resolved a friendly living Faction model currently in this model’s command range can remove d3 damage points.

The Night Witch was a solid solo before the CID cycle, but we felt it was not quite hitting its mark. The changes made increase its consistency and give additional options to the model.

Lord of the Feast
-SPD 6.
-ARM 16.
-Gain Death-Powered:
Death-Powered - This model gains +1 STR and ARM for each corpse token currently on it.
-Wurmblade gains Blood Reaper and Grievous Wounds:
Blood Reaper - When this model makes an initial attack with this weapon, it makes one melee attack with this weapon against each model in its LOS that is in this weapon’s melee range. Blood Reaper attacks are simultaneous.
Grievous Wounds - A model hit by this weapon loses Tough  and cannot have damage removed from it for one round.
-Cut Thresher.

As a manifestation of an ancient spirit, the Lord of the Feast should feel powerful and scary. These changes certainly accomplish that! Increases in stats for collecting corpses along with Blood Reaper can really let the Lord of the Feast threaten a wide variety of targets, from lowly infantry to powerful warcasters.

Tharn Ravager Shaman
-Cost 4.
-CMD 8.
-Cut Battle Wizard.
-Gain Rapid Healing:
Rapid Healing - When this model is damaged by an enemy attack, immediately after the attack is resolved remove d3 damage points from it.

The Shaman received some minor updates but was shown by the community to be spot-on in its role and functionality.

Tharn Ravager White Mane
-Gain Countercharge:
Countercharge - When an enemy model advances and ends its movement within 6˝ of this model and in its LOS, this model can immediately charge it. This model can use Countercharge only once per round and not while engaged.
-Gain Rapid Healing:
Rapid Healing - When this model is damaged by an enemy attack, immediately after the attack is resolved remove d3 damage points from it.
-Replace Veteran Leader [Tharn Ravager] with Veteran Leader [Tharn]:
Veteran Leader [Tharn] - While in this model’s command range, other friendly Tharn models gain +1 to attack rolls.
-Cut Overtake.
-Tharn Axe gains Brutal Charge:
Brutal Charge - This model gains +2 to charge attack damage rolls with this weapon.
-Cut Critical Grievous Wounds.

As basically a total rework, the White Mane is now a chieftain type of model. Giving his Veteran Leadership buff in the early game before wading into combat himself with Counter Charge was not only a thematic choice for him but also very useful.

Tharn Wolf Rider Champion
-Cost 7.
-Cut Assault .
-Gain Backstab:
Backstab - While completely within the back arc of an enemy model, this model gains an additional die on its attack and damage rolls against that model.
-Gain Dual Attack:
Dual Attack - This model can make melee and ranged attacks in the same activation. When this model makes its initial melee attacks or a power attack, it can also make its initial ranged attacks. This model can make ranged attacks even while in melee.
-Gain Leadership [Wolf Riders]:
Leadership [Wolf Riders] - While in this model’s command range, friendly Wolf Riders models gain Prowl.
-Gain Prowl:
Prowl - While this model has concealment, it gains Stealth .
-Cut Quick Work.
-Cut Veteran Leader.

Much like the Tharn Ravager White Mane, the Champion is a substantial rework. Moving Veteran Leader over to the White Mane let us specialize the Champion as more of a combat solo tied directly to the Tharn Wolf Riders.

Cercle Orboros / CID Circle

Male Tharn get Rapid Healing

Bloodtrackers 9/15 cost, Parry

Nualla gives Repo 3 and Mini to switch Prey

Wolfriders 12/20 cost, lose assault, gain jump, gain dual attack, gain backstab?!

Wolfrider Champion Gives Prowl and a gains all the above, loses vet leader

Lord of the Feast - 7pts, gains Deathpowered (+1 STR and ARM for each corpse) and Grievous Wounds

Theme benefit change, no more snacking on warbeasts, ambush on Bloodweavers.

A priori, ça commence mercredi prochain.

Partie 1 contre Rafa (Cryx / Deneghra3)

Partie 2 contre Huosang (Everblight / Rhyas)

Partie 3 contre Kurogami (Cryx / Skarre1)

Partie 4 contre Sharkface (Troll / Madrak2)

Partie 5 contre Ashleysen (Everblight / Lylyth3)

Partie 6 contre Gamin (Menoth / Severius2)
Bon bon bon...

Raz'
