sorry, my French isn't that up to date (well, i can say: "Je veux acheter un kilo pommes de terre, s'il vous plait", no article, mind you), so I am afraid I will have to do this in English. maybe some of you remember me, I was the Skorne mercenary from Austria playing for the Swedish team last year.
Ruad is quite busy at the moment, he's just returned from his holidays and is drowning in work, and I dare say I would be very much surprised if he read the French forums. Anyway. I am writing to assure you that we are already feverishly working to organise the OETC 2011 event in Salzburg at the moment (which definetily will take place in September, no grain of doubt about that!). The new forum just opened its gates (after the old one was overrun by porn-bots) - it is a German forum, fair enough, but do not hesitate to ask any questions in English (French might be a bit tricky though, I am not sure if any of our local Warmachine crowd speaks more than a smattering of French).
We really are looking forward to seeing teams from France this year. Sorry, I couldn't make it to Lyon, was in hospital that time - but still, Mr. Zoroastre, I kindly request a re-match, and this time I shall not be deceived by your pink fuzzy hat!

I guess it might be a good idea to give the evil powers from abroad, who want to sneak into the beautiful city of Mozart to steal our marvellous medals, some tips how to get there. If you are travelling to Salzburg from farther away, flying to Salzburg is highly recommendable. Numerous low cost carriers fly to Salzburg Airport at decent rates (Ryanair, German Wings and many others). Salzburg Airport lies at the edge of town, travel to the torunament location will take approximately 10-15 minutes by bus or taxi. If you are travelling in a group of 4-5 the taxi may even be cheaper than the bus.

Busses take you almost everywhere for the moderate fee of EURO 2,10 (cough, cough) but tend to run less frequently in the evening and in most cases not at all after 11pm (yes, we are a bit old fashinoned and do not want young people to have fun). A taxi ride in the city should cost you between 10 and 15 Euros, so taxis might be recomemndable. On the other hand, Salzburg isn't the largest city in the world. You will get to most places in the space of 30 minutes at most walking.
