UK NATIONAL MASTERS 2015 INFORMATION
Hello everyone.
The UK National Masters in 2015 will once again be held at the North West Gaming Centre in Stockport, on the weekend of September 12 & 13, 2015.
We’re giving more notice than usual and making the tickets available sooner. Ticket sales will go live at
https://www.tiebreak.co.uk/uknationals on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at 7:00 pm (UK time). You can purchase multiple tickets, but please make sure you include the name of the people you are purchasing the ticket for.
This will be a 128 player event using the Masters pack, so it will be 7 rounds over 2 days at 50 points. Painting is optional, but there will be prizes to be won, for those of you wishing to join the best painted army competition.
Tickets cost £ 39 which will gain you entry and lunch on both days.
Every year we up the ante on the prize support and gifts for this event, creating the largest Warmachine tournament prize pool in Europe, and most likely the world. The 2014 event featured an exclusive limited edition Privateer Press UK Masters pin, a UK Masters T-shirt and discount vouchers given to every attendee, along with other swag. Thousands of pounds worth of vouchers were won by victors and via spot prizes throughout the event that could be redeemed during the weekend.
The top three winners of the event received trophies and product vouchers. The best-of faction winners received vouchers, the best painted army winners received various modeling products. Even the player who came in last received a free army for his efforts! And everyone was given a raffle ticket for drawings in between each round for studio autographed books, big base models, etc.
We are still sorting out the prize support, gift and raffle ideas for 2015, so it’s not all finalized. They’ll still be the trophies, raffles, product, and vouchers, as in previous years, but we also want to introduce unique prizes and swag. We have decided to include a £ 40 voucher for each attendee that can be redeemed at the event, to basically cover the cost of registering. We’ll also have a couple pieces of original full-color artwork from one of the Privateer Press founders, Brian Snoddy, probably going to a winner and one to the raffle. The subject matter is not Warmachine, but still, pretty cool…
More news will be released as we have it.
Hopefully we’ll see you there.
Thank you,
The UK National Masters Team
