Hi all, this will be the third WTC that I have been the Admin dude and in that time we've gone from nothing to having some semblance of a selection process and a number of regular sponsorships for the traveling teams. Warmachine in my life is generally winding down so it's time to look for a successor.
The WTC Administrator job isn't the most time consuming thing you will ever do, but there are a number of tasks that have to be completed by deadlines that have to be met regardless of what's going on in your real life. Largely it consists of assessing the player selection process and making changes to the process year on year to improve it. I have done my best to make the system as fair, transparent and accountable as possible but it isn't perfect yet. Where possible you will need to consult the English player base about proposed changes to the system but the final word will be yours.
As the selection process gets underway you will act as the failsafe. Stepping in if something goes wrong or if disputes between the selection committee become to impassioned. At all times you will need to keep calm and collected, use common sense and be as approachable as possible.
You are not barred from trying for selection as a player yourself but it is advised for you to not apply for the selection committee in order to act as a failsafe.
