Change log for Week 2:
Iona the Unseen: We felt that part of Iona's Feat should affect more of her army. Her warbeast points have been reduced to adjust her power down slightly.
Warbeast points 27.
Change the second sentence of Time of the Beast to:
Additionally, while in Iona’s control range, friendly warrior models can reroll missed attack rolls.
Morvahna the Autumnblade: Morvahna's damage and warbeast points have been increased slightly to raise her power level.
Warbeast points 29
Damage 15.
Morvahna the Dawnshadow: We felt that Morvahna's power level should increase slightly. Censure now benefits her more.
Change the text of Censure to the following:
Enemy upkeep spells in the spellcaster’s control range immediately expire. A spellcaster can keep any of its upkeep spells in play by suffering d3 damage points per spell. This damage cannot be transferred or reduced by spending focus points. Remove one damage point from the spellcaster for each damage point caused by Censure. Censure can be cast only once per activation.
Ghetorix: We felt that Ghetorix should be the most survivable of the Warpwolves, so his ability to heal has been adjusted slightly. This change also thematically lines up with the other Tharn models.
Cut Regeneration.
Gain Rapid Healing:
Rapid Healing - When this model is damaged by an enemy attack, immediately after the attack is resolved remove d3 damage points from it.
Rip Horn Satyr: We felt that the Rip Horn's power level was not correct compared to the other satyrs, so he has become more survivable and has been given more powerful melee attacks.
Damage boxes increased to 30.
Bladed Gauntlets POW 5.
Storm Raptor: We felt the Storm Raptor was still under performing, so we've reduced its cost and added the Flying High rule. Sky Fire received a clerical correction.
Cost 34.
Change the last sentence of Sky Fire to:
Sky Fire lasts for one turn.
Gain Flying High:
Flying High - Ranged attacks targeting this model suffer –5 RNG. Friendly models can advance through this model if they have enough movement to move completely past its base. This model loses Flying High if it loses Flight XICONX.
Pureblood Warpwolf: We felt the Pureblood needed to be further differentiated from the other warpwolves. Raising its RAT gives it a more unique place.
RAT 6.
Warpwolf Stalker: We felt the Stalker was still under performing, and decided it should have higher damage output than the other non-character warpwolves since it carries a weapon.
STR 11.
Tharn Blood Pack: These changes are intended to further push this unit toward the roll of dedicated ranged combat.
MAT 6.
Gain Hunter:
Hunter - This model ignores concealment and cover when making ranged attacks.
Tharn Wolf Riders: We feel that the Wolf Riders are performing well, but were too high of points investment.
Cost 11/18.
Lord of the Feast: The Lord of the Feast receives a slight points decrease and a SPD increase in this update to make it a more appealing option.
Cost 6.
SPD 6.
Tharn Blood Shaman: The Blood Shaman is performing very well, and has been deemed slightly too powerful for a 4 point model.
Cost 5.
Tharn Ravager Shaman: We've decided for consistency to add the Rapid Healing ability to this model and remove the Battle Wizard ability to further define its role as a support model.
Cut Battle Wizard.
Add Rapid Healing:
Rapid Healing - When this model is damaged by an enemy attack, immediately after the attack is resolved remove d3 damage points from it.
Well of Orboros: We've decided to adjust the points on the Well and add to its subtype to make it more appealing in more lists. The range of its Sink Hole attack range has been increased slightly, and Rear Attack has been added, to increase its table presence. Open the Gate has gained a points limit to better balance with the reduced cost of this model. Bone Keeper received a clerical correction.
Add Blackclad to sub-header.
Cost 10.
Change the first Sentence of Opening the Gate to:
This model can use Opening the Gate once per game at any time during its activation. Immediately put a friendly non-character Faction solo with a point cost of 5 or less in play, placing it completely within 3˝ of this model.
Sink Hole RNG 14. Gains Rear Attack:
Rear Attack - When declaring attacks with this weapon, this model can target models in its back arc.
Change the text of Bone Keeper to:
Bone Keeper - Models destroyed by this weapon are removed from play. When this weapon destroys a living or undead model, you can choose a friendly model that can gain corpse tokens to gain the destroyed model’s corpse token, regardless of the proximity of other models. Theme Forces
Devourer's Host: This change is a slight quality of life change for the theme force.
Replace the second benefit with the following:
For every full 20 points of Tharn models/units in this army, you can add one Circle command attachment or Circle solo to the army free of cost. Free models do not count toward the total point value of Tharn models/units in the army when calculating this bonus.
Circle Theme Force: The Wild Hunt: This change allows the Well to be taken in this theme, further defining it as a Faction-wide support model.
Add “Circle structures” to the Army Composition section.
