Celui de Quentin:
Game 3
Finally some reprieve from all the undead madness in the form of Trolls and another friendly french player with superbly painted models by the name of Quentin. I saw a chance to play my 3rd caster as well, so Rasheth hits the table against pDoomshaper while Calandra and Jarl stay in the bag.

The scenario is Destruction. I go second again. I deploy my Gators and Krea opposite the Fennblades on the right side with my beasts behind a screen of Slingers wary of Hoarluk’s Rampager. My Drake goes on the left side to hunt Runeshapers. Quentin runs the Fennblades forward and the rest approaches more cautiously. I decide to sacrifice the Krea to not get the full charge of the Fennblades on my Gators, so she runs forward. With allmost no shooting on the other side apart from the Pyre troll I can afford to loose her. I advance behind my Slingers screen and through a handy patch of difficult terrain which would make my Rampaging beasts advance only 2”. Having never played against Runeshapers before I learn that their magic missile is actually an AOE, so a few clumped up Slingers bite the dust. On the other hand my opponent mistakes the Drake for a Krea and so I get some revenge, but one Runeshaper toughs it out. On the other side the Krea gets a vicious pummeling and one or two gators get some damage as well, while some slingers get engaged. Mulg and the Earthborn cautiously approach the zone behind Janyssa’s wall.
I make it a priority to get the wall out of the game, so I decide to go for Janyssa. Rasheth just barely manages to get her into his controll area, so I feat and channel a BoC into her. The dice favour me for once and I roll the needed 11 aaaand... no tough! I even manage to get some use out of Influence clearing Fennblades with... Fennblades! Slingers kill some whelps and maybe a fennblade as well. The Gatormen charge forward to jam Quentins beasts a bit and also take down further Fennblades. My Bronzeback lurks quite far to the left behind the objectives, really scared of Rampager.
On my opponents turn the Fennblades are unable to do anything to the Gators, so Mulg advances to take out two of the closest ones and by trying to reach the second one suffers a free strike from the first one, which turns to be a real power bomb taking out his entire body! (my feat + no kriel aura yet and a nice roll of 16 ) He still manages to kill them though and snack some health back, since the freestriker was at 1 health or so from a previous Fennblade charge. Doomshaper then goad him back, away from the frontline and heals him a bit more. Even so, he remains in the Sentry’s threat range. I first try to soften him up further with the drake but my boosted spray against him turns out a triple 1. My Bronzeback clears the Runeshapers and approaches Quentin’s battlegroup sneakily from behind the scenario objectives. My remaining Gators struggle with the Fennblades. The Sentry gets rushed and with Carnivore up charges Mulg who is pimped up with Blood Mark. At dice -1 I just barely manage to kill him, since one attack misses on a double 1. Now it starts to look bleak for Quentin.
He finally Rampages the Bronzeback away from the fight, feats and kills the Sentry with the Earthborn, he forgets however to goad him back, which leaves him in range of my Gladiator. Due to Rasheth’s poor movement I fail to exit Doomie’s controll, so I need to take damage from his feat when I Rush the Gladiator. Again, a bit of luck is on my side, since I only get 3 damage for the 2 fury spent. With 13 HP left on Rasheth (had to cut for 4 since the Earthborn snacked the Sentry and I couldn’t reeve) I decide to get cheeky and put Carnivore up on the Glad as well, which turns into just further 3 damage! Thanks to Carnivore the enraged Gladiator doesn’t need to force only to buy further attacks and he manages to kill the earhborn without any aspect getting destroyed. The Bronzeback runs back into the zone. Now the game is truly over, yet Quentin valiantly fights on, Rampaging the Bronzeback away again and trying with Doomshaper and the Fell Caller to finish off the Gladiator, which fails.
Sympa, il écrit bien ce gars !
Q²:
Titi:
Bravo Quentin ! (oui, je me réveille après la bataille...)

Hello
